CIE JUPON
Compagnie Jupon creates hybrid, socially engaged work that draws on circus arts, dance, music, theater, visual arts, and photography. The company’s work is rooted in a form of circus that embraces intimacy, sensitivity, fragility, and emotion. It seeks to explore the individual’s relationship with the self, with others, and with the environment, aiming to show that this quest for self-discovery reveals a vital need for connection and cooperation.
Its creative drive stems from an awareness of a world under tension, where everyone is searching for their place. Following a piece centered on courage and escape—the company is now galloping across the landscape. Inspired by nature, it explores "borderlands": transitional zones between worlds that serve as territories for spontaneous exploration and instinctive freedom—byways open to critical thought and emotion.
Through a transdisciplinary approach, the company’s creations offer a sensitive, evocative world—a true call to movement. Each show is an invitation to share intimate emotions and to escape together into poetic worlds rooted in reality
She explores the fringes, seeking to question the fragility of the world, to open up new possibilities, and to invent different ways of inhabiting the present.
She champions every creation as an act of connection, resistance, and collective reinvention.
