De l’Air !—the new show from Compagnie Jupon—blends circus arts, dance, music, and visual arts to sweep us away on a journey through the "fringes": those spaces where our freedoms can still breathe. With a blend of poetry and commitment, the company speaks to audiences of all ages, inviting us to question the roles we are assigned, stand up for our desires, and invent new ways of inhabiting the present moment.
De l’Air ! is a gentle yet fierce cry to catch our breath and reaffirm our humanity.

A clearing,
Three bird-women flutter upon a perch for ideas.
Trapeze, Chinese pole, cello, a family resemblance.
How good it feels to live a little high up.
Choose the treetops at the edge of our forests and worlds over the city fog.
Compagnie Jupon breathes a spirit of freedom into your lungs and minds—a fresh, wild breeze, sometimes even a touch of madness!
For look at the animals we are, and see how vital it is to be able to howl with the full force of our humanity.

Quick, a breath of air!
